Carpet

Today I cleaned the floor and walls from all the grinding dust and what not then installed the carpet. Here's the pics of before cleaned after cleaned and carpet installed. It's black carpet.

Rust Repair 4

Today my dad painted the wheel wells and the outside parts that needed some paint. When I got home I painted the wheel wells with about 5-6 coats each of rubberized undercoating and painted the interior parts. Here's some pictures of what happened. A couple more spots need patches and seam sealer but I need the van this week so it will have to wait till I have more time and better weather to do that stuff. Of course I still waiting for my explorer to sell so I can get the rest of the body work done.

Rust Repair 3

After all the welds were ground down we used some seam sealer to seal everything up.  Today I finished the grinding and sealing and also wire wheeled the wheel wells. I gonna paint the wheel wells with the zero rust then get some spray rubberized undercoating and spray that in the wheel wells too and hopefully that will help keep things quieter in the van.  I thinking of also getting some carpet from Menards tomorrow for the floor.

Rust Repair 2

Today my dad made some patches and welded them in for me. We still need to grind the welds and use some seam sealer and then paint it with the zero rust paint. Now I gotta buy the repair panels to finish the rust repair. At least now the interior will be dry and I can put some carpet in it now. We ran out of shielding gas for the welder so the welds aren't as good as they should be.
